Who Runs This?

The Playground is run by Let's Make Films, a Liverpool-based creative organisation that's been activating the city's filmmaking community since 2024.

We believe making should be accessible, collaborative, and always fun.

About Us

WE'VE SEEN OVER 2000 PEOPLE
ATTEND OUR MONTHLY MIXER SINCE SEPTEMBER 2023.

WE'VE HOSTED MONTHLY WORKSHOPS, WITH OVER 1000 ATTENDEES.

WE'VE BROUGHT THE FIRST NATIONAL SATURDAY CLUB TO LIVERPOOL WITH OUR FILM CLUB FOR AGES 13- 16. NOW IN IT'S SECOND YEAR.

WE'VE LAUNCHED OUR SANDBOX SHOWCASE, IN COLLABORATION WITH PICTUREHOUSE, TO SOLD OUT CROWDS. SHOWCASING LOCAL WORK ON THE BIG SCREEN.

WE'VE PAIRED TRAINEES WITH INDUSTRY HOD'S TO PROVIDE ON SET PLACEMENTS! DEVELOPING AND NURTURING THE NEXT GENERATION OF TALENT.
